Cristal Model Sheet

I have done many model turns over the years working as a character designer in this crazy biz.... but this is one I am most proud of, I am sure you will see why. This is Cristal from the Boondocks epsiode "Guess Ho's Coming to Dinner?"... It was quite fun to design her.... enjoi!

Nightstalker

I have been taking painting classes on Saturdays w/my Mom for awhile now as I am trying to develop some serious painting skills. Well, needless to say I learn alot by doing studies of some of my favorite artists and of those I wish to emulate in my work. Here is a study of one of my favorites pieces from Frank Frazetta...titled Nightstalker. Unfortunately I havent been able to take a good photo of this piece so I just scanned it directly into my mac, I say this b/c the scan does the piece no justice.
Well, I was happy w/it since it really was only my 2nd painting @ this level....

cheers

el elefante

just another one of the benefits of now working @Cartoon Network-being close to my former foster home-LA Zoo. Here is a drawing of the Indian elephant out there. When going for character I usually address it through shape but here I addressed it through line. It was my first attempt @drawing this way and needless to say I was pretty happy w/the result.....

Abby and Simon(Simon)

Well, I apologize for not posting for awhile..I have been busy w/the new gig @CN and trying to wrap up freelance projects.
My personal sketches have been limited to stuff for my book and I dont really want to post many of those until published
Here is one of the designs I did for one of the freelance projects, to be pitched by end of 05.The creator really loves the classy Disney style so bringing that look to be designed/animated on a TV platform was a fun task.

I will post more soon...
