I had to design a panda for work today and I have never drawn a panda...ever!1 Hard to believe huh..considering I love drawing all animals..just never did,maybe b/c none @the LA Zoo. .Anyway, while working on the design I did this alternate style of a panda on the side of my screen....I did this rather quickly and on a 2nd pass I would work it out a bit better,but pretty happy w/it on this first attempt,so figured I would post for some ya'll to take a gander

I saw a panda at the DC zoo once, it was very sad. All you could see was his foot. This panda is much happier!

Great drawing! I would add black eye-patches to enhance the Panda thing. But hey, great drawing anyway.
thanx Uli, your comments mean alot. I did do the black eye patches but I pulled back greatly on the exploitation of that shape b/c it s a common route that is taken in designing a panda.I wanted a diff attempt and leaving the patches so small helped play up his cute character w/these tiny caring eyes.
