Costume Gesture Drawing

Here are some recent sketches from the Monday costume class, 5 minute poses and each drawing is no bigger then about 3-4 inches each.

Pig Invasion @Disney!

Yesterday Disney brought in some pigs and 2 piglets for some opportunity drawing on the back grassy area. They were for a project the interns are working on but were made available for everybody to draw.I have never drawn a farm pig before,I have just drawn a horned warthog once, so these sketches are really my first attempt @ observing this animal closeup.I love when Disney olds these special drawing opportunities-a real treat!

Somebody famous...to us

While working here @Disney Feature I kept seeing this guy stroll by my desk...after a few times I just had to do a quick sketch of this character...he was a great subject. After I had done this sketch someone saw it and said "Hey, that's a great drawing of Eric Goldberg." What...thats Eric Goldberg...yes...one of the greatest animators living today...wow...just never knew what he looked like....now I do....
