kris.w said...: i've been a fan of your work for some time now! i was really glad to meet you when you came to my school a while back at CSUF. i purchased your Animal Character Design book, and you gave me your little sketch book (David Colman's Doodles Vol.1) because some dude and i helped you carry all your stuff out to your car after your lecture.. haha!

anyway, i can't tell you how much i feel like your drawings have helped me push my drawings further and further. i use your books for reference all the time. i even used the bigg'n recently to help me prepare my designs for a pitch i did at Nickelodeon last month. now that i've found your blog, i'm sure my learning will continue because i feel i still have a long way to go.
