Visual Development

Here is a piece I did for a client awhile back. Still not allowed to state what its for but client has given the go ahead to post(something that you all should realize, you cant post everything and anything you are hired for w/o granted permission especially when client owns any piece you do for them). Its an undisclosed video game project. I did this using a new technique I learned from Bobby Chiu; scan in an original pencil texture and digitally paint the piece using that texture along w/other tools in PS.

Not to spoil the surprise but I (along w/many great artists like Rik Maki, Stephen Silver.. and many more) were asked to contribute to the Great Dean Yeagle's next book. I must say it is one thing to know him personally its another to be asked to be part of his Mandy legacy.... Here are some thumbs I did for the illustration. These are about 2 inches big and no more then a minute or so..I just went and came up w/something I never initially intended. Already started roughing in the final and so far I am happy w/it...giving it my all for Dean. Enjoi!
